$1.9M Settlement for Rear-End Accident

Our client was driving southbound in a vehicle from the SFO Domestic Terminal in San Mateo County, California. At that time, the defendant was driving a vehicle traveling directly behind our client’s vehicle at a high rate of speed. As they stopped for the traffic signal, the defendant failed to yield to the stopped traffic ahead and slammed into the rear of our client’s vehicle.
The police officer on the scene found the defendant at fault for the collision in violation of California Vehicle Code section 22350 CVC for driving at a speed that is greater than reasonable.
As a result of this collision, our client’s vehicle was TOTALED, and they suffered a loss of use.
